The Orange County CARES team will offer monthly education series for family caregivers and persons with dementia. Offered in alternating months at alternating centers will be ‘What Can We Expect: Dementia Basics” a three-part series with topics regarding brain health, types and stages of dementia, and preparation for the journey ahead. Tuesdays: August 8, 15, 29 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Passmore Center, 104 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

Please register with the OC CARES team at least one week prior to the first session by calling 919- 245-4253 or e-mailing mdagger@orangecountync.gov and indicate course number (255018-01). Respite care will be available for loved ones with dementia if requested.
