Lisa Zou’s music students will perform the guzheng (21-stringed zither), pipa (lute), guqin (7-stringed zither), erhu (two-stringed violin), and guitar. The performers consist of youths and mature adults from a variety of musical backgrounds. The concert will showcase songs of Chinese traditional music in groups and solos. Light refreshments will be served during the 10 minute intermission. This FREE concert is open to the public, and will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Seymour Center in Chapel Hill on Saturday, August 5.
