The Prime Time Players is excited to present ‘Preaching to the Choir” in April.  This zany musical was written by a local Hillsborough author, Pip Merrick.  Within an uplifting, inspirational message, she parodies her experience in a local Presbyterian Church.

“Preaching to the Choir”  is about a flagging church that has muddled through without a minister for some time.  The entire congregation, consisting of 15 choir members.  The middle- aged choir director, Alma, is discouraged, disgruntled and exasperated.  The Presbytery sends them a young minister, Faith, fresh from divinity school who saves the church through her belief in the power of positive thinking and hard work.
