Sign up for Summer Reading and have fun doing it. The Chapel Hill Public Library Summer Challenge: Read More! Do More! Learn More! kicks off on Friday, June 10th with a community celebration at 100 Library Drive. There will be special demonstrations (roller girls in the traffic circle!) and activities (see ball, giant jingo, and disc golf!), food trucks, interactive booths and games. Student athletes from UNC Chapel Hill will be on hand as reading role models for kids.
Families are encouraged to carpool, bike, or walk to the event. Chapel Hill Transit will run a shuttle from Phillips Middle School, and overflow parking will be in the FastMed parking lot on Estes Drive as well as the empty lot next to Sherwin Williams on Franklin Street.
