Great Books Reading Group: The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon

June 7 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

| $35

Yearning to revisit some of your favorite classics? Join UNC faculty discussion leaders for a session on context and meaning, and then return to tackle substantive issues in the text. We are pleased to offer Great Books Reading Groups in partnership with Flyleaf Books of Chapel Hill. To be sure we are literally on the same page, every participant will receive a copy of the book before the first session. The Reading Group meets on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Flyleaf Books. Light refreshments will be offered.

Due to the nature of the reading group, pre-registration is required and refunds cannot be offered. Each group is $35. Seats are limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot! To enroll in one or more of the Great Books Reading Groups visit our registration page and click the “register” button for “Special Event–Great Books Reading Groups–Tuesday Mornings at Flyleaf.” From there, you can select the book group(s) of your choice. You can also register over the phone by calling us at 919-962-1544. We will send you a copy of the book and details regarding the event approximately three weeks before the first meeting (or as soon as you register if less than three weeks before).
