THE PEARL SEYMOUR CELEBRATION CONCERT

January 25 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

| Free

A concert is being presented to honor Pearl Seymour, a beloved musician and teacher, by the Friends of the Seymour Center and the Orange County Department on Aging.

The diversity of musical talent in our community will reflect Pearl Seymour’s love of music, young people and her friends. The concert will include winners of the Chapel Hill Music Teachers’ Association contest, songs by Allie Little, Florence Peacock – who knew her fellow music teacher Pearl Seymour well, Natalie Peacock Corral and instrumental performances by Chinese and African American musicians and two of Pearl Seymour’s friends.

A reception will follow the concert and will feature hors d’oeuvres and a slient auction. Funds raised for the silent auction, sponsorships and program ads will benefit the Friends of the Seymour Center and help support programs and services for older adults at the center.

The event is FREE and open to the public. For information go to http://www.friendsseymourcenter.org/ or call 919-968-2070.
