Do you LIKE writing? Do you WANT to improve your creative verbal skills? Are you willing to share, listen, learn, and experiment? If so, this is all you need (besides a notebook). It is like a fitness class for creativity. The agenda includes writing exercises that concentrate on specific skills. The goal is to help writers develop the daily habit of sitting down and writing non-stop for 15-30 minutes. Materials: Bring a ruled notebook. Minimum participation is 8 and the maximum participation is 15. The instructor is Clark Holtzman, poet, essayist, diarist, and writer of radio plays. The seminar will take place at the Seymour Center in Chapel Hill from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on consecutive Wednesdays beginning on October 25 and ending on November 8. The fee to participate in the seminar is $10.00. The registration deadline is Wednesday, September 20.
