Rural Transportation Advisory Committee (RTAC) Meeting

The TARPO RTCC and RTAC will hold their regular bi-monthly meetings in Pittsboro on February 8, 2018.  A draft of the RTCC (staff committee) agenda can be found at http://www.tarpo.org/docs/agendas/agenda_rtcc_20180208.pdf.  A draft of the RTAC (elected officials’ committee) agenda can be found athttp://www.tarpo.org/docs/agendas/agenda_rtac_20180208.pdf.  The agendas include the following decision items: (1) release of draft FY19 Planning Work Program, and (2) approval of TARPO local point assignment methodology for Prioritization 5.0.  In addition to these decision items, there will be discussion of a number of informational/discussion items.

TARPO is authorized under North Carolina General Statute 136-211 to conduct rural transportation planning for Chatham, Lee, Moore, and Orange Counties and to advise the North Carolina Department of Transportation on rural transportation policies and programs.
