Honour by Joanna Murray-Smith (a sister show of the 2017 Women's Theatre Festival) @ Ward Theatre | Durham | North Carolina | United States

Honor has navigated the ups and downs of marriage with her husband Gus for 32 years.  Despite a promising career as a poet, she set aside her ambitions to support Gus and their daughter Sophie. When Gus betrays her and moves in with a woman half his age, Honor is left to reinvent herself.

In a series of intense confrontations, Honor, Gus, his lover and their daughter negotiate the forces of passion, lust, responsibility and honor.  These interactions are told in a distinctly original way, using theatrical language that is darkly comic, highly poetic and uncomfortably familiar.

The show will run from July 22 to August 12 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from July 22 to August 12.
