Creative Music Performance (CMP), based in Carrboro, North Carolina, is a group oriented music program for youth. For the capstone performance CMP’s second summer camp session, held at The Station in Carrboro, students will perform a set of music that they have rehearsed and recorded Nightsound Studios; joining them for this festive event are the awesome local bands MKR and Poor Pie. In addition to celebrating the students’ recording, the profits from ticket sales for this event will go to TABLE. The event takes place on August 26th from 6 PM until 9:30 PM; tickets are available at the door for $10.
