“To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of America’s entrance into the First World War, the CHHS PTSA is partnering with the Varsity Theatre to host an evening with esteemed historian and nationally-recognized educator William V. (“Bill”) Melega, who will present his lecture, “Over There, Over There! American in WWI.” A CHHS teacher for 22 years, Melega enlivens the standard historical content with expansive knowledge of historical events, insights into pivotal characters, and an ability to convey rich contextual details through story-telling, costumes, and artifacts.
